Merchandiser

About the Role

As a Merchandiser Intern at Velaroofficial.in, you will support the planning and execution of product assortments for retail and online channels. This on-site role is based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area and involves coordinating with design, sourcing, and sales teams to ensure the right products are available at the right time. This is an internship role designed to provide hands-on experience in fashion merchandising and retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in inventory tracking.
• Monitor sales performance.
• Prepare product displays.
• Collect feedback from customers and store teams.
• Contribute to promotional and visual merchandising activities.
• Help analyze trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to refine product positioning and assortment strategies.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Communication skills (verbal and written) for interaction with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Customer Service and Retail skills to support in-store experience and maintain brand standards.
• Sales and Marketing skills to assist with promotions and driving sell-through.
• Interest in fashion and lifestyle products, with an eye for trends, visual presentation, and customer preferences.
• Ability to work on-site in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area.
• Ability to collaborate in a team setting.
• Ability to manage tasks with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in basic MS Office or Google Workspace tools.

Qualifications

• Current student or recent graduate in Fashion, Retail Management, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
