Travel Consultant Internship

About the Role

LuxoTrip is a premium, experience-led travel company curating unique domestic and international travel experiences. We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Travel Operations Intern to join our remote team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys travel planning, research, organizing information, and coordinating with different service providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Itinerary Creation: Research and create detailed domestic and international travel itineraries based on trip requirements, including sightseeing, activities, transfers, and accommodation.
• Destination Research: Explore destinations, identify interesting experiences, attractions, activities, restaurants, and local travel options.
• Hotel Coordination: Contact hotels and accommodation providers via phone calls or emails to collect information regarding room categories, availability, tariffs, amenities, policies, and other relevant details.
• Vendor Coordination: Communicate with local activity providers, transport operators, and other travel vendors to gather quotations and operational information.
• CRM Management: Enter and organize all researched information, itineraries, hotel details, vendor quotations, and other trip-related data accurately in LuxoTrip’s CRM.
• Cost Research: Assist in collecting hotel rates, activity costs, transportation charges, and other relevant pricing information to support trip costing.
• Documentation: Maintain updated records, supplier contacts, itinerary templates, and destination information.
• Team Coordination: Work closely with the operations team to refine travel plans and ensure all information is accurate and up to date.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Docs, Excel, and online research tools.
• Comfortable using CRM platforms or willing to learn.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in travel, tourism, backpacking, and exploring new destinations.
• Good research and information-gathering skills.
• Ability to create structured and practical travel itineraries.
• Comfortable communicating with hotels and vendors over phone calls and emails.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Knowledge of Indian travel destinations, treks, and offbeat experiences is preferred.
• Students pursuing Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Tourism Management, or related courses are encouraged to apply.

Internship Details

• Position: Travel Operations Intern
• Work Mode: Remote / Work From Home
• Stipend: ₹3,000 – ₹6,000 per month
• Duration: 3–6 months
• Working Hours: 6 - 8 hours per day
• Joining: Immediate
