About the Role
The Social Media Marketing Intern at Chippy Split is a remote role focused on growing and engaging our online community across key social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and publishing social content.
- Managing posting schedules.
- Monitoring channels for comments, messages, and discussions.
- Assisting in developing and executing social media campaigns.
- Optimizing posts for reach and engagement.
- Aligning content with the brand’s voice and goals.
- Tracking basic performance metrics and sharing insights.
- Collaborating with product and marketing stakeholders to support feature launches and announcements.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO).
- Strong Communication and Writing skills.
- Skills in Content Strategy.
- Familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Reddit, X/Twitter, LinkedIn).
- Familiarity with basic analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to collaborate with a distributed team.
Qualifications
- Current enrolment in or recent completion of a program in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Interest in fintech, personal finance, or consumer apps is a plus.
- Prior experience with social media for a brand, club, or project is a plus.
