Autocad Designer

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Draftsman proficient in AutoCAD and Revit to prepare technical drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, and execution drawings for sports infrastructure projects. The candidate will coordinate with the engineering, design, and project execution teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements and site specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, and detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create and modify 3D models and drawings using Revit, wherever required.
• Prepare sports facility layouts, including courts, playing areas, flooring layouts, and related infrastructure.
• Develop construction drawings, working drawings, and execution drawings based on project specifications.
• Incorporate revisions based on feedback from engineers, project managers, and clients.
• Coordinate with the civil engineering and site execution teams to understand site dimensions and technical requirements.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings based on actual site conditions.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision histories, and project documentation.
• Ensure drawings follow the required dimensions, specifications, scales, and drafting standards.
• Support the engineering team in preparing drawings for BOQs, estimations, and project proposals, wherever required.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings to support project planning and execution.
• Maintain organized digital files and ensure the latest approved drawings are available to the relevant teams.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D drafting.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Revit and 3D modelling.
• Understanding of civil engineering drawings, dimensions, sections, elevations, and construction details.
• Ability to interpret architectural layouts and engineering sketches.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and drawing revision management.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and project documentation.
• Willingness to learn sports infrastructure design standards and project-specific requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a relevant technical field.
• 0–2 years of experience; freshers with relevant software knowledge and drafting skills may apply.
• Candidates with academic projects, internships, or a portfolio demonstrating AutoCAD and Revit skills will be preferred.
