About the Programme
Green Growth Nepal (GGN) is a programme funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and implemented by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to support Nepal’s transition to a green, inclusive, and resilient economy. The programme works closely with the Government of Nepal and the provinces of Madesh, Lumbini, and Karnali to identify green growth opportunities and develop investment strategies. GGN strengthens coordination among federal, provincial, and local governments to catalyse sustainable projects and investments across the project lifecycle. Its work spans national green growth policies, climate-smart urban infrastructure in cities, and financial sector deepening to mobilise green finance, de-risk credit, and enhance capital markets.
