Welder

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Welder role based in Ahmedabad. The Welder will prepare, join, and repair metal components using appropriate welding techniques and equipment, following technical drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting up welding machines.
• Selecting suitable materials and processes.
• Inspecting welds for quality.
• Performing basic finishing tasks such as grinding and cleaning.
• Collaborating with mechanical fitters and other team members.
• Maintaining tools and equipment.
• Complying with workplace safety, housekeeping, and quality control standards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Arc Welding
• General Welding techniques
• TIG Welding
• MIG Welding
• Knowledge of Materials, including properties of metals and appropriate consumables.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety practices, use of PPE, and compliance with site procedures.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical training or certification in welding or fabrication from a recognized institution is preferred.
• Previous experience in industrial or mechanical fabrication environments is an advantage.
