Production Coordinator

About the Role

The Production Coordinator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai at PixStone Images, a leading VFX studio. The Production Coordinator will support the smooth execution of VFX projects by organizing production schedules, tracking tasks, and coordinating resources across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain project documentation.
• Update status reports.
• Assist production management in monitoring deadlines, deliverables, and quality standards.
• Ensure daily communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to clarify priorities and workflow.
• Help identify potential bottlenecks.
• Support problem-solving efforts.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in production processes.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to coordinate across teams.
• Production Planning and Production Management skills to manage schedules, resources, and delivery timelines.
• Project Management and Organization skills to prioritize tasks, maintain documentation, and ensure structured workflows.
• Experience in VFX, animation, or media production environments is beneficial.
• Proficiency with production tracking tools and basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, project management platforms) is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong attention to detail.
• Relevant education in film, media, animation, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
