Oracle SCM Consultant

About the Role

As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to actively aid the consulting team in different phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design, and deployment. You will explore alternatives to recommended solutions based on research and build POCs. You will create requirement specifications from business needs, define to-be processes, and detailed functional designs. You will support configuring solution requirements on the products, diagnose root causes of issues, seek clarifications, and identify and shortlist solution alternatives. You will also contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with the objective of providing high-quality, value-adding solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively aid the consulting team in project phases: problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design, and deployment.
• Explore alternatives to recommended solutions based on research and build POCs.
• Create requirement specifications from business needs.
• Define to-be processes and detailed functional designs.
• Support configuring solution requirements on the products.
• Diagnose the root cause of issues, seek clarifications, and identify and shortlist solution alternatives.
• Contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives.
• Work with clients to identify business challenges and contribute to client deliverables by refining, analyzing, and structuring relevant data.
• Assess current processes, identify improvement areas, and suggest technology solutions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Minimum 2 years of implementation experience with Oracle EBS/Cloud/Fusion in Order Management, Procurement, Inventory, Bill of Material, Manufacturing modules.
• At least 1 full life cycle implementation experience, with hands-on configuration, implementation, and support of Oracle EBS/Cloud/Fusion SCM.
• Responsible for leading requirements elicitation, fit-gap analysis, development, configuration, functional testing, and post-production support.
• Experience with data migration using FBDI.
• Strong experience in gathering requirements.
• Designing solutions for very high transaction volumes.
• Good experience of Performance Testing of solutions.
• Experience of designing and delivering complex custom solutions in highly integrated applications landscape.
• Experience in handling integration with external partners/applications such as:
• E-Commerce Portals
• Part Catalogs
• Trading partners (Suppliers, Customers)
• EDI
