The Industrial Hydraulic Application Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and reviewing hydraulic manifold block applications.
- Interpreting customer requirements.
- Selecting appropriate components.
- Preparing technical documentation.
- Collaborating with manufacturing and industrial engineering teams to optimize designs for manufacturability.
- Supporting process improvements.
- Troubleshooting application-related issues on the shop floor.
- Performing design calculations.
- Analyzing hydraulic circuits.
- Supporting customer queries.
- Contributing to quality and performance enhancements for hydraulic systems.
- Communicating with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure solutions meet functional, safety, and reliability standards.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Analytical Skills: To evaluate hydraulic circuit performance, diagnose issues, and optimize designs.
- Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering skills: To align application designs with production capabilities and efficiency goals.
- Process Improvement skills: To identify bottlenecks, refine workflows, and enhance quality and productivity.
- Effective Communication skills: To collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare clear technical documentation, and interact with customers.
- CAD tools (beneficial).
- Hydraulic circuit design (beneficial).
- Exposure to CNC machining or precision manufacturing environments (beneficial).
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and components.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Maintain a safety- and quality-focused mindset.
