Technical Staffing Recruiter

About the Role

TEKsystems is growing its Recruiting Center in Charlotte, NC, and is seeking talented individuals to join the Talent Delivery group. This position begins with an extensive hands-on training program as a Recruiter Trainee, followed by a Recruiter role.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit top IT consultants and manage their experience throughout the recruiting cycle.
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants by providing career coaching on market trends, labor rates, resume creation, interviewing techniques, and emerging skills.
• Develop effective sourcing strategies leveraging various tools and technologies, including in-house AI tools, to identify top talent.
• Use AI-generated insights to make data-driven decisions in the recruitment process.
• Advise account managers and clients on skill-set availability, labor rates, hiring location decisions, and talent identification/onboarding timelines.
• Negotiate compensation packages (wages, benefits, etc.) to attract and hire candidates.
• Demonstrate specialized knowledge within aligned skill, industry, or role specializations.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor's Degree OR Military experience OR Associate's Degree and at least 3 years of full-time professional experience OR 4 years of full-time professional experience in a customer-facing role.
• Enthusiasm for networking and building strong relationships with high ethical standards.
• Ability to work in a team environment and relate openly with diverse groups.
• Desire for a career in a commission-driven, performance-based environment requiring quick and consistent pursuit of opportunities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including asking good questions to seek out others' perspectives.
• Eagerness to learn and enthusiasm for experimentation to find optimal solutions.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $45,000 + weekly commission + performance-based bonuses (quarterly and annually) + cell phone allowance.
• 13-week training compensation: $16.50 per hour (eligible for overtime).
