About the Role
The Web Content Manager internship is a remote role responsible for coordinating and maintaining content across HK Technical’s educational and creative web platforms. This internship offers hands-on experience in web content governance within a fast-evolving Ed-Tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning, organizing, and updating website content.
- Ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with brand and educational objectives.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to publish high-quality material.
- Monitoring site performance using basic analytics.
- Optimizing content structure for user experience.
- Supporting small content-related projects from initiation through completion.
Qualifications
- Skills in Content Management and Project Management to coordinate updates and oversee content workflows.
- Skills in Web Content Writing and Content Strategy to create clear, engaging, and well-structured web materials.
- Skills in Web Analytics to interpret basic performance data and support continuous content improvement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), SEO fundamentals, or UX principles is beneficial.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program in communications, digital media, computer science, pharmacy, education, or a related field is an advantage.
