About the Role
Voltanova is a clean energy technology company developing thermal energy storage (TES) solutions and AI-driven energy management systems. This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and optimize electrical systems for thermal energy storage and energy management technologies.
- Develop electrical schematics and layouts.
- Perform load and safety calculations.
- Select appropriate electrical components.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, controls, software, operations) to implement robust, efficient, and safe power systems for pilot projects and commercial deployments.
- Participate in testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of electrical and power systems in real-world industrial environments.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Electrical Design for industrial systems and components.
- Power Systems analysis and Power Distribution for industrial or energy applications.
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in electrical design and simulation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar software).
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Electrical Engineering and a solid understanding of Electricity fundamentals.
- Applied expertise in Electrical Design for industrial systems and components.
- Practical experience in Power Systems analysis and Power Distribution for industrial or energy applications.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering or related field); advanced degrees are an advantage.
- Experience with industrial or energy-sector projects, preferably in power, renewables, or thermal systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Interest in clean energy, sustainability, and working in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
