About the Role
You'll prepare individual, trust, partnership, and corporate returns for a focused group of families and the entities they own. Because our tax, accounting, and wealth teams work on the same families, you'll see how each return connects to the bigger picture. You'll learn from senior tax staff on real client work, with planning happening throughout the year, not just in busy season.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare individual, trust, partnership, corporate, and gift returns (Forms 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120S, 709) and supporting workpapers
- Gather and organize source documents with our accounting and client service teams
- Help calculate estimated tax payments and year-end projections
- Research tax notices and draft responses for review
- Attend client meetings in a support role
- Support cash flow, estate, and balance sheet planning work
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or tax
- 0–2 years of tax preparation experience (internships count)
- Comfortable in Excel and Outlook; experience with Salesforce or tax software is a plus
- You take ownership of your work and see it through, and you keep the team in the loop
- You do well on a small team where everyone wears a few hats
Qualifications
- Master's in Tax preferred
- CPA in progress, or a plan to pursue it, strongly preferred
