Digital UX Designer Intern

About the Role

As a Digital UX Designer Intern at Vermeer Corporation, you will contribute to improving the user experience of digital products. You will collaborate within a digital product team, focusing on research, design, prototyping, and analytics measurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Work across the design lifecycle to research solutions, design concepts, and prototypes.
• Collaborate with software engineers to implement designs.
• Gain understanding of digital product users and personas by participating in user research and observation.
• Learn and demonstrate the ability to design within an established design system and component library.
• Track and document key metrics that support the product team, such as user adoption and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other UX designers by participating in UX team ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, pairing sessions, design review, best practice sharing) to gain perspectives and ensure a unified user experience.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Working knowledge of Figma is recommended.
• Knowledge of Jira and software development lifecycles (agile, lean, waterfall) is a plus.
• Knowledge of user experience best practices and UI standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Marketing, or other related field.
• Previous internship is a plus.
