About the Role

Join Preyer US Corp, a subsidiary of Preyer GmbH, as an inaugural team member in North America as a Junior Consultant. This role offers a unique opportunity to connect business with IT, combining technical consulting with system-side implementation for financial service providers, focusing on asset management and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Undergo the Preyer Academy training program to prepare for professional and technical challenges.
• Integrate into a dynamic team of experienced consultants, engaging in diverse projects.
• Implement, realign, expand, and/or optimize existing IT systems.
• Review, evaluate, and enhance existing risk frameworks and risk processes.
• Implement new regulatory requirements (e.g., market, credit, liquidity, or operational risk).
• Provide technical assistance in developing smaller software tools for North American clients.
• Work remotely or directly at client sites.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• University degree with an affinity for IT and finance.
• Preferably, a completed internship in banking, insurance, asset management, or financial risk controlling.
• Willingness to travel within North America and occasionally to Europe.
• Preferred: Basic German skills or willingness to learn German.
• Soft skills: Analytical and critical thinking, initiative, openness, communication skills, enthusiasm, flexibility, and teamwork abilities.
