About the Role
Continental Properties is looking for a Summer 2027 Construction Intern to join our Construction team at our home office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. This role involves working closely with our Construction project team and participating directly in the real estate development and construction management process of our rental housing communities. You will gain hands-on experience in both Preconstruction and Field Execution areas of Construction.
- Position Specifics: Full-Time During Summer 2027
- Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Preconstruction
- Research codes, permits, and fees
- Dry utility coordination
- Assist with early budgets and estimates
Field Execution
- Visit active job sites and join inspection walks
- Uphold code requirements and quality standards
- Track project documents and assist with managing consultants
Qualifications
- Available to work 40 hours per week during the Summer
- Currently a student of Junior or Senior standing enrolled in an Engineering, Construction Management, or related program
- Interest in the construction industry
