QA/Automation Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code. The role involves designing and implementing software platforms with Microservices Architecture based on AWS and Azure, integrating data storage solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with various monitoring backends. The ideal candidate will identify bottlenecks and bugs, devise solutions, maintain code quality, and participate in early product demonstrations to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code.
• Design and implement software platform with Microservices Architecture based on AWS and Azure.
• Integration of data storage solutions, including databases, key-value stores, and notification queues.
• Integrate with various monitoring backends.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Participate in early product demonstrations to customers.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience with Python and common libraries/frameworks such as Flask, Django, and Pandas.
• Good understanding of using Lambda/Functions in Python.
• Proficiency in testing frameworks like PyTest.
• Basic understanding of developing private PIP packages.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful concepts.
• Ability to write clean, readable Python code.
• Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
• Understanding of monitoring metrics such as CPU, Memory, Disk Space, Network latency, and telemetry services.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications.
• Understanding of RDBMS databases.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MS SQL.
• Proficient understanding of GitHub.
• Experience with IDEs like Visual Studio Code.

Experience with Azure services like Functions, Web APP, EventHub, and API Management is a plus.

Experience with AWS services like Lambda, Kinesis, SQS, and SNS is a plus.

Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in .Net Framework and Core.
• Experience with Microservice Architecture and Docker Containers.
• Experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Experience with MySQL and SQL.
• Experience with Kafka Message Streams.
• Experience with Cloud Monitoring Tools.
• Experience with Automation Frameworks like Specflow.
