Video Editor Intern

About the Role

BFT Media is seeking a Video Editor Intern for a 3-month remote internship. The role involves creating documentary-style videos focused on Business, Finance, and Technology, with an emphasis on storytelling, pacing, visuals, and audience retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit YouTube documentary-style videos.
• Create engaging cuts, transitions, motion graphics, and sound design.
• Utilize stock footage, archival visuals, screenshots, and graphics to convey stories.
• Incorporate subtitles, text animations, and visual effects.
• Collaborate with the team to transform scripts into compelling videos.
• Refine edits based on feedback and audience retention metrics.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in Premiere Pro / After Effects or similar editing tools.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
• Interest in Business, Finance, Tech, and documentaries.
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and experiment.
• Possesses attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

• Location: Remote (WFH)
• Stipend: Stipend-based
