About The Role

We are seeking a Data Analyst for a full-time, remote position. You will work with structured and unstructured data to generate insights supporting business, product, engineering, and client-facing teams. This role involves collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data, building dashboards and reports, developing data models, and identifying trends. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and communicate insights effectively. This role offers the opportunity to work with SQL, Python, Power BI, statistics, data modeling, and modern analytics platforms.

Shift: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST

Location: Open to candidates across India

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, clean, analyze, and interpret datasets.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and performance drivers.
• Write, optimize, and validate SQL queries.
• Use Python for data cleaning, transformation, automation, and analysis.
• Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and generate summary statistics.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Develop and maintain data models for analytics and reporting.
• Apply statistical techniques for pattern identification.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Automate data-related processes using Python scripts.
• Create reports and visualizations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements.
• Translate business questions into analytical solutions.
• Document analytical workflows and methodologies using Jupyter Notebooks or similar environments.
• Contribute to data foundations and support AI-ready data initiatives.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations.

Requirements & Tech Stack

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis.
• Knowledge of Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI and dashboard development.
• Understanding of DAX calculations and Power BI data modeling.
• Knowledge of data cleaning, transformation, and preparation techniques.
• Understanding of statistics, including descriptive analysis, hypothesis testing, and regression.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Jupyter Notebook or similar notebook environments.
• Understanding of data visualization and data storytelling best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 0 - 4 years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Operations, Implementation, Onboarding, or related roles.
• Freshers with strong fundamentals, relevant projects, internships, or certifications are encouraged to apply.
