About the Role

Aarambh Coaching Centre is seeking a Geography Faculty for its UPSC Civil Services Examination preparation program. This full-time, on-site role is based in New Delhi.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom teaching for UPSC aspirants, covering the entire Geography syllabus of General Studies.
• Plan and conduct lectures.
• Prepare structured lesson plans.
• Explain complex concepts with clarity.
• Use current examples to connect theory with practice.
• Design and evaluate tests, answer writing exercises, and assignments.
• Provide constructive feedback to learners.
• Update content based on the latest UPSC syllabus and trends.
• Conduct doubt-clearing sessions.
• Support students through guidance and mentoring.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Demonstrated expertise in UPSC Geography Optional and Geography-related portions of General Studies.
• Familiarity with the latest UPSC syllabus and examination pattern.
• Proven classroom teaching experience or mentoring experience for competitive exams.
• Clear, structured, and engaging communication skills.
• Ability to design lesson plans, test papers, and study materials that are analytical, exam-focused, and aligned with UPSC standards.
• Skills in guiding answer writing, map-based questions, and improving students’ analytical and conceptual understanding.
• Comfort with using basic educational technology (presentations, online resources, digital content) to support teaching and learning.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple batches and maintain academic discipline.
• Commitment to learner success and professional integrity.
• Collaborative approach to working with other faculty and staff.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in Geography, preferably with a postgraduate degree or higher from a recognized institution.
• Prior experience in a coaching institute or UPSC training environment is highly desirable.
