Part-Time Junior Beverage R&D Trainees

About the Role

Rithvahi Foods Pvt. Ltd. is seeking two enthusiastic fresh graduates for Part-Time Junior Beverage R&D Trainee positions at their Hyderabad R&D laboratory. This is a trainee/internship-style opportunity with potential progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing beverage formulations and conducting hands-on laboratory trials.
• Prepare ingredients, formulations, and samples using laboratory equipment.
• Operate and maintain basic laboratory instruments such as pH meters, refractometers, incubators, weighing balances, mixers, and other R&D equipment under guidance.
• Measure and record pH, Brix, and other relevant product parameters.
• Conduct independent research on beverage ingredients, additives, formulation techniques, and new product concepts.
• Research ingredient suppliers, compare technical specifications, and assist with sourcing materials and samples.
• Work closely with the founder and R&D team to explore new product ideas, conduct experiments, and improve formulations.
• Assist with product benchmarking, sensory evaluation, stability studies, and shelf-life testing.
• Identify formulation challenges, research possible solutions, and suggest improvements.
• Maintain accurate formulation records, laboratory trial reports, and research documentation.
• Follow laboratory hygiene, safety, and equipment maintenance procedures.
• Gradually conduct approved laboratory trials independently as skills and experience develop.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Fresh graduates in Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, Dairy Technology, or related disciplines.
• Basic knowledge of food ingredients, laboratory equipment, and testing methods.
• Strong interest in beverage formulation, product development, and food science.
• Enthusiastic, curious, and self-motivated, with an independent research mindset.
• Willingness to learn, experiment, solve problems, and contribute new ideas.
• Good communication, documentation, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently on research assignments and collaboratively with the R&D team.
• Candidates residing in or near Boduppal, Uppal, Medipally, and surrounding Hyderabad areas are preferred.
• Previous industry experience is not required.
