Role Overview
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation using Ansible, with a focus on AIX or Windows Server environments, and supporting Connect:Direct for managed file transfers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, patching, and deployment activities across servers.
- Manage and support AIX and/or Windows Server environments.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IBM Connect:Direct managed file transfer solutions.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation best practices.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and operations teams to streamline deployments.
- Monitor automation jobs and resolve performance or execution issues.
- Develop reusable automation frameworks to improve operational efficiency.
- Create technical documentation, SOPs, and deployment procedures.
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities.
