About the Role
Hertz Local Edition (HLE) offers flexible, local rental solutions. This role is designed to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in 12–18 months. Ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn all aspects of the business.
What You’ll Do
- Sales & Customer Service
- Support achievement of location sales goals.
- Deliver excellent customer experience to contribute to high customer service scores.
- Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices.
- Operations & Fleet Management
- Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control.
- Assist with store operations and compliance.
- Vehicle and Facility Care
- Support the team with miscellaneous tasks including cleaning and preparing vehicles, lot management, and customer service assistance.
- Finance & Administration
- Learn finance processes and support deal completion.
- Understand reporting, documentation, and business metrics.
- Leadership Development
- Shadow and support management in daily operations.
- Build skills in team leadership, scheduling, and performance coaching.
- Prepare for future leadership roles through structured training.
- Learn how the role contributes to the overall financial wellbeing of the company.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Must be 20 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong computer and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Presentable attire.
- Experience working in a professional environment.
What You’ll Get
- Hourly rate of $18.00.
- Overtime Pay: Eligible.
- Holiday Pay: Eligible (1.5 x regular pay rate for hours worked on a designated holiday).
- Sick Pay: Up to 40 hours.
- Paid Time Off / Vacation: Accruals start at .83 Days a Month.
- Paid observed Holidays: 9.
- Floating Holidays: 4.
