Backend Development Associate

About the Role

RTAC is looking for a motivated Backend Development Associate to contribute to the development of business applications and software products. The role involves building application modules, managing data flows, integrating services, and ensuring reliable communication between different components of software systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance server-side modules for business applications.
• Implement application logic, data processing routines, and workflow requirements.
• Create and maintain APIs to support communication between software components.
• Work with databases to manage records, relationships, and application transactions.
• Integrate external services and ensure reliable data exchange between systems.
• Investigate backend errors and resolve issues affecting application functionality.
• Assist with performance improvements, code reviews, and application maintenance.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and testers during feature development.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow established coding practices.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, Java, or similar programming languages.
• Understanding of SQL, database relationships, and CRUD operations.
• Familiarity with APIs, JSON, and HTTP communication.
• Knowledge of debugging, error handling, and version control using Git.
• Understanding of web application architecture and server-side programming concepts.

Qualifications

• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Practical academic projects or internship experience in software development is beneficial.
