Liminal

About the Role

The best operators make complexity look effortless. Be the person who keeps our Boston hub running, our leaders focused, and a hundred moving pieces moving.

Liminal is a Founders' Studio that co-builds with repeat founders, providing build expertise, capital, and unfair access from founding to Series B.

This role is a combination of executive support for the leadership team, business operations for the Boston hub, and workplace experience management. It requires an instinct to see and remove snags quietly. You will move between executive support, business operations, workplace experience, and team programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create executive leverage by running complex calendars across Boston and Singapore, protecting high-value meetings, resolving conflicts, and ensuring participants are briefed.
  • Make the Boston hub hum by being the operational heartbeat of the Boston office, connecting the team, keeping day-to-day operations smooth, anticipating needs, and fostering a productive workplace. Help build rituals, experiences, and moments that bring distributed teams together.
  • Orchestrate important moments such as leadership meetings, team offsites, founder gatherings, and internal celebrations by organizing and paying attention to details that ensure seamless execution.
  • Keep operational wheels turning by coordinating vendor relationships, internal approvals, expense processes, documentation, and other elements keeping the studio functioning.
  • Administer tools and systems by supporting onboarding and administration for Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, WhatsApp, and Zoom.
  • Build better ways of working by spotting inefficiencies, simplifying workflows, and introducing systems that increase speed without bureaucracy.

Who You Are

  • A Closer of Loops: Meticulous and follows through, closing gaps while maintaining sight of the bigger picture.
  • High Agency, Low Ego: Takes ownership and figures things out without waiting to be told; no task is beneath you.
  • Discreet by Instinct: Works with founders and senior leaders, often around sensitive information, understanding that trust is earned through judgment, confidentiality, and consistency.
  • Clear, Concise, and Considered: Communicates with precision and warmth, ensuring actionable emails, settled meeting notes, and clear instructions.
  • Unflappable: Works effectively with incomplete information when plans change, flights are cancelled, or priorities shift, bringing clarity and options.

Unicorn Points If...

  • You’ve supported a founder or leadership team across time zones.
  • You speak multiple languages.
  • You've run an overseas offsite where the content was the primary takeaway.
  • You have experience replacing tedious manual processes with clever Notion databases or Zapier flows.

The job emphasizes order, discretion, and momentum. Building systems as well as running them makes one "unreasonably valuable."
