Underwriting New Associate

About the Role

• You will be part of the General Insurance team.
• You will be an individual contributor as part of a team with a predetermined, narrow scope of work.
• You will be provided with detailed instructions on all tasks.
• Decisions you make impact your own work and are closely supervised.
• Your primary interaction is within your own team and your direct supervisor.
• You are required to solve routine problems, largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing Claims Adjudication.
• Claims Processing.
• Portfolio Management.
• Checking on Fraudulent Claims.
• Rating and quoting including receipt, clearance, data gathering, and submission for operation of insurance services.
• Setting up new business or renewal submissions in support of developing an insurance quote.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Property Casualty - Underwriting
• Insurance Underwriting

Qualifications

• Any Graduation

• 0-3 years of experience in Property Casualty Underwriting or Policy Servicing across shared services/Third Party BPO service providers (Essential).

• Hands-on experience managing one of the following tasks from the Insurance Underwriting Cycle:

• Submission

• Indication

• Policy Issuance

• Premium Audit/booking

• Policy maintenance

• Endorsement

• Quote/Booking

• Aggregation / Modeling

• Benchmarking

• Binders Processing

• Renewal prep

• Doc management

• Indexing

• Invoicing

• Loss Run

• Good to have someone with experience in Re-Insurance Fac and Treaty business.
