Housekeeping Associate

About the Role

The Housekeeping Associate is a full-time, on-site role at Rivaah Resort & Spa in Jamshedpur. This role is focused on cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas to resort standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas.
• Make beds.
• Replace linens and towels.
• Dust and vacuum.
• Restock amenities.
• Manage laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
• Respond to guest requests.
• Report maintenance issues.
• Follow safety and hygiene protocols.
• Support opening and closing procedures for assigned floors or areas.
• Work closely with the housekeeping and front office teams.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Housekeeping and laundry skills: including cleaning, sanitizing, and handling linens and guest clothing.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Organization skills: to manage time, prioritize tasks, and maintain orderly storage of supplies and equipment.
• Ability to participate in and support training.
• Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment is beneficial.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry items throughout the shift while following safety guidelines.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.
