Protein Characterization Intern

About the Role

This co-op opportunity focuses on manufacturing and has a 6-month duration starting January 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Medicinal Chemistry: Design and create new molecules for potential medicines.
• Process Chemistry: Optimize synthetic routes and develop scalable manufacturing processes for drug substances, applying green chemistry principles.
• Characterization: Analyze biological medicines to ensure quality and efficacy.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship.
• Ability to relocate to the office location and work 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship.
• Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring future employment visa sponsorship.
• Academic Background:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry (preferred), Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, General Biology, or other related life sciences and chemistry fields.
• Master's degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, General Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or other life sciences and chemistry fields.
• PhD in Chemistry or Organic Chemistry, or other life sciences and chemistry fields.
