Business Analyst Support, GSF Last Mile

About the Role

The GSF LM team at Amazon India is hiring for a Business Analyst position. This role requires a candidate with a strong performance record and hands-on experience in data-driven decision-making. The role demands exceptional analytical skills, the ability to break down complex problems into structured, executable plans, and comfort with high ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain robust processes to drive improvement projects with an objective to maximize consumer experience across the LM network.
• Identify, plan, and execute automation projects within the team to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Create and work on data using SQL, Amazon S3, and QuickSight to generate actionable insights for business and operations teams.
• Support business growth in constrained environments through frugal and innovative solutions, ensuring scalability without proportional cost increase.
• Make existing processes scalable by identifying and implementing available tools, automation, and AI-driven solutions.
• Roll out best practices from other geographies and standardize tools and processes to minimize end-to-end supply chain losses.
• Partner with business, operations, and technical stakeholders to translate complex operational challenges into structured, data-backed recommendations.
• Utilize strong problem-solving and communication skills to influence decisions across business, operations, and technical audiences.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in Macro and SQL.
• Experience with BI tools.
• Capability to work with big data from multiple sources.
• Experience with Amazon S3 and QuickSight.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of data analytics or automation experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Knowledge of data pipelining and extraction using SQL.
• Knowledge of SQL and Excel at a moderate or advanced level.
• Experience with data mining tools like SQL, SAS, SPSS, or similar.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across business, operations, and technical functions using data and facts, and earn trust across varied teams without formal authority.
• Candidates are expected to demonstrate a high bar on Bias for Action, Deep Dive, Learn and Be Curious, Insist on the Highest Standards, and Ownership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL/Python/R, scripting, MS Excel, table joins, and aggregate analytical functions.
• Experience in data analytics or automation.
