Fractional Chief Revenue Officer
Neomaxer
About the Role
Neomaxer seeks a hands-on Fractional Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to own go-to-market strategy and drive profitable growth across holiday packages and corporate TravelDesk. Reporting to the founder, this role involves leading sales and marketing execution, coaching and governing the team, and building capabilities for scaling.
Key Responsibilities
- Own GTM strategy: Define customer segments, positioning, offers, and acquisition channels, with distinct approaches for holiday packages and corporate travel.
- Deliver profitable growth: Own agreed revenue and gross-profit targets, supported by clear execution plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Lead sales and marketing: Direct internal teams and agencies, align acquisition with sales capacity, and improve performance across the customer journey.
- Improve conversion: Strengthen lead qualification, response times, follow-ups, quotations, closing, and repeat business.
- Coach and govern the team: Set clear expectations, review execution, develop managers and team members, and address underperformance.
- Build the organisation: Assess capabilities, define roles, lead hiring and onboarding, and ensure the right people own the right outcomes.
- Govern commercial performance: Manage acquisition costs, marketing spend, discounting, and margins, allocating resources according to results.
- Establish operating discipline: Ensure CRM adoption, reliable reporting, pipeline visibility, and consistent follow-through on commitments.
Expectations & Accountability
- Take ownership from strategy through execution, including resolving blockers and ensuring agreed actions are completed.
- Set ambitious, achievable commercial targets with the founder and remain accountable for delivery.
- Demonstrate measurable improvements in profitable revenue, conversion, acquisition efficiency, and team productivity.
- Build a qualified corporate travel pipeline and strengthen repeat and referral business.
- Identify growth opportunities, test them with commercial discipline, and scale those that deliver.
- Proactively recommend changes to channels, offers, processes, and people when performance falls short.
- Provide clear visibility into results, risks, corrective actions, and decisions required from the founder.
Engagement Model
This is a fractional, outcome-led leadership engagement, with commitment determined by business needs and agreed deliverables rather than fixed weekly hours.
The role requires sufficient involvement to lead the team effectively, maintain execution momentum, and remain accessible for critical commercial decisions. Review meetings support delivery; they are not the extent of the engagement.
Day-to-day sales and marketing authority will be agreed upfront, with budgets, headcount, and major commercial changes aligned with the founder.
