AI Agent Engineering Intern
About the Role
Sky Free Research Solutions LLC is building a next-generation Agentic AI platform using the Mastra framework. This platform enables businesses to create, configure, and deploy their own AI agents directly from a SaaS dashboard. The role focuses on customer-configurable AI agents, multi-agent orchestration, tool integrations, MCP connectivity, intelligent workflows, knowledge retrieval, and autonomous task execution.
Role Description
The AI Agent Engineering Intern will focus on improving and developing the existing Mastra-based AI Agent system within Sky Free and XpressBot. Key areas include fine-tuning the Mastra implementation, enhancing agent behavior, and testing AI agents across multiple real-world WhatsApp Business API use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve and fine-tune existing Mastra AI agent architecture and execution.
- Test AI agents across different WhatsApp customer interaction scenarios.
- Improve agent instructions, reasoning, tool calling, and conversation context.
- Identify and fix incorrect responses, failed tool executions, and performance issues.
- Develop and test multi-agent orchestration and agent handoffs.
- Build custom Mastra tools, MCP integrations, and AI workflows.
- Develop automated tests and monitor agent performance using observability tools.

- Students, fresh graduates, and self-taught developers with relevant programming experience and personal projects are encouraged to apply.
Monthly Stipend: ₹5,000 per month.
Initial Duration: 3 months.
Work Mode: Fully remote.
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
Stipend Review: Based on performance, technical contributions, learning progress, and overall commitment, the stipend may be reviewed after the initial internship period.
Working Hours: Flexible, subject to assigned tasks, project deadlines, and team coordination.
