CT Technician

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site CT Technician role based at Apollo Clinic, Bansdroni in the Kolkata Area. The CT Technician will perform CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and maintaining patient safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for CT scans.
• Operate CT equipment.
• Set appropriate technical parameters for scans.
• Monitor patients during procedures.
• Verify patient information.
• Explain procedures to patients.
• Maintain equipment and imaging rooms.
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff.
• Document procedures accurately in the system.
• Support efficient patient flow within the diagnostic department.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Radiology and Radiologic Technology, with demonstrated competence in CT imaging procedures.
• Knowledge of Radiation Safety principles and practices.
• Relevant certification or eligibility with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent recognized credential.
• Understanding of basic Medicine and clinical terminology.
• Diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology or related field from an accredited institution.
• Previous experience as a CT Technician or Radiologic Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred.
• Ability to follow protocols, work accurately under time constraints, and manage multiple cases during busy hours.
