Key Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure upgrade projects involving managed applications, covering servers, operating systems, databases, and cloud services.
- Lead application migration projects across on-premises, private cloud, and public cloud environments.
- Lead and manage a team of 7-8 members.
- Drive Windows and Linux OS upgrade programs.
- Manage cloud migration and application modernization initiatives across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Manage VMware and Nutanix infrastructure transformation projects.
- Manage database upgrade and migration projects.
- Manage data center migration and infrastructure consolidation programs.
- Manage enterprise security remediation and vulnerability management programs.
- Lead CI/CD implementation and DevOps transformation initiatives.
About the Role
- Lead the engagement effort of providing high-quality and value-adding consulting solutions to customers at different stages—from problem definition to diagnosis to solution design, development, and deployment.
- Review proposals prepared by consultants, provide guidance, and analyze solutions defined for client business problems to identify any potential risks and issues.
- Identify change management requirements and propose a structured approach to clients for managing change using multiple communication mechanisms.
- Coach and create a vision for the team, provide subject matter training for focus areas, motivate and inspire team members through effective and timely feedback and recognition for high performance.
- Contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with the objective of providing high-quality, value-adding consulting solutions to customers, adhering to the guidelines and processes of the organization.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Extensive experience in large-scale application version upgrade projects.
- Strong expertise in middleware upgrades, including:
- WebLogic
- WebSphere
- JBoss
- Tomcat
- IIS
- Proven experience in cloud migration and application modernization initiatives.
- Experience in VMware and Nutanix infrastructure transformation projects.
- Database upgrade and migration project experience.
- Data center migration and infrastructure consolidation program experience.
- Enterprise security remediation and vulnerability management program experience.
- CI/CD implementation and DevOps transformation initiatives.
