About the Role

MATS University, Raipur is seeking dedicated and dynamic educators to join our Department of Fashion Designing.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures, studio sessions, and practical workshops in fashion design, garment construction, and textile science.
• Guide students through design projects, portfolio development, and annual fashion shows/exhibitions.
• Mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in academic research and industry-aligned projects.
• Collaborate with faculty to update curriculum in line with current global fashion trends and technological advancements.
• Establish industry connections to facilitate internships, workshops, guest lectures, and placement opportunities.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD).
• Strong foundation in pattern drafting, draping, and garment construction.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring abilities.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Degree in Fashion Design (M.Des / M.Sc. in Fashion Designing) or an equivalent relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• Experience: Teaching or industry experience in fashion design, pattern making, garment manufacturing, or textile design is preferred. Fresh postgraduates with exceptional portfolio work are also encouraged to apply.
