Degain focuses on uncovering the full potential of homes, creating unique, story-driven environments tailored to individual lifestyles. A team of passionate designers collaborates closely with clients to co-create spaces that feel distinct, meaningful, and enduring.

This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs.
• Develop design concepts and translate ideas into detailed plans and presentations.
• Perform space planning.
• Select finishes and furnishings.
• Prepare construction drawings.
• Coordinate with architects and contractors.
• Oversee design implementation to ensure quality and consistency.
• Research sustainable materials.
• Source FF&E (Finishes, Furniture, and Equipment).
• Manage project timelines.
• Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the design process.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Demonstrated proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning.
• Ability to create functional, aesthetic layouts.
• Knowledge of Architecture principles.
• Experience preparing accurate Construction Drawings for residential or commercial projects.
• Hands-on experience with FF&E selection.
• Strong skills in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and visualization tools for presentations.
• Understanding of sustainable design practices and interest in eco-conscious materials and solutions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and client-facing skills.
• Attention to detail and time management.

Qualifications

• Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Professional portfolio showcasing completed projects.
