Rs Farmer & CO. is an agricultural business focused on paddy cultivation and harvesting, serving local markets and buyers in and around Kathua.

The Paddy Harvesting Worker role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kathua.

Key Responsibilities

• Cutting and gathering paddy crops.
• Bundling and stacking harvested paddy.
• Assisting with threshing and cleaning as required.
• Performing manual labor such as lifting and carrying loads.
• Working in fields under varying weather conditions.
• Helping prepare fields and equipment.
• Maintaining cleanliness around work areas.
• Following instructions from supervisors to meet daily harvesting targets.
• Adhering to safety guidelines.
• Proper use of tools and equipment.
• Respectful collaboration with other workers.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including prolonged standing, walking in fields, lifting, and carrying loads.
• Basic understanding of agricultural or farm work, preferably with experience in paddy or other crop harvesting.
• Willingness to work outdoors in different weather conditions and during peak harvesting seasons.
• Reliability in following instructions, meeting work schedules, and maintaining consistent attendance.
• Commitment to safe working practices.
• Ability to work respectfully in a team environment.
• Local language proficiency and basic communication skills.
• No formal education requirements.
