About the Role
The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing interior concepts, preparing presentations, and assisting with detailed drawings and documentation for various project types. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, requiring regular presence at the studio and project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Space planning
- Selecting materials and finishes
- Coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment)
- Assisting in site measurements and supervision as needed
- Close collaboration with senior designers, architects, and external consultants
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Interior Design and Space Planning skills
- Architecture knowledge and understanding of design coordination
- Creating Construction Drawings and technical documentation
- FF&E selection, material specification, and finish schedules
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar)
- Basic MS Office tools
- Strong visual communication skills, including presentation layout and basic 3D visualization
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work collaboratively in a studio environment
- Knowledge of local languages is an advantage
