CA Article Trainee

About the Role

The CA Article Trainee will support accounting, finance, and compliance activities for Entrepreneurly Global and its startup portfolio. This role offers practical exposure to startup finance, cross-border transactions, and professional CA training requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with bookkeeping.
• Financial statement preparation.
• Management reporting.
• Basic financial analysis.
• Supporting audits.
• Supporting tax filings.
• Supporting regulatory documentation.
• Preparing working papers.
• Maintaining organized records.
• Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders such as auditors, consultants, and startup founders.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in common accounting or ERP software.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing CA articleship or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Solid foundation in accounting principles and standards.
• Strong skills in bookkeeping, ledger management, and preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Basic knowledge of auditing procedures, internal controls, and compliance documentation relevant to CA training.
• Familiarity with tax concepts, regulatory filings, and corporate finance fundamentals, especially in a cross-border or startup context.
• Ability to work with financial data accurately and efficiently.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
