About the Role

The Finance fresher role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram, supporting the finance and accounts function for a large manufacturing organization. This position is designed to build strong foundational skills in corporate finance within an industrial and multinational context.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with preparation of financial reports
• Tracking expenses
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
• Helping maintain accurate records in ERP and accounting systems
• Basic analysis of financial data
• Reconciliation of ledgers
• Coordination with internal departments for data collection
• Adherence to company policies, internal controls, and compliance requirements
• Preparing management reports
• Supporting audits
• Contributing to continuous improvement of finance processes under the guidance of senior team members

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Excel or similar tools
• ERP or accounting software (beneficial)

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge and education in Finance and Business (e.g., a degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field)
• Strong Analytical Skills (comfort with numbers, ability to interpret financial data)
• Communication skills (to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, prepare clear reports, and present financial information)
• Understanding of Business Administration principles (basic budgeting, cost control, and organizational processes relevant to a manufacturing environment)
• Familiarity with basic taxation and compliance (beneficial)
• Attention to detail (beneficial)
• Integrity in handling financial information (beneficial)
