Assoc Analyst, TO Business Intelligence

About the Role

The Associate Analyst will work to enable better decision-making across GX-FX by processing huge volumes of data from various systems and driving decisions. The work will involve analysis projects with deliverables for various stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract data from a variety of sources to assist in building operational dashboards and reports
• Curate tables and views that serve as the "single source of truth" for United's Tech Ops data
• Automate existing manual reports and processes to improve operational throughput
• Perform ad-hoc data mining and analysis as required

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in Engineering, Business Analytics, Finance, or Supply Chain
• Deep understanding of data structures, relationships, and efficient transformations
• Familiarity with all parts of the data ecosystem -- acquisition, engineering, storage, management, analysis, visualization, and deployment
• Knowledge and application of data visualization best practices
• Experience with systems such as: Fleet Focus, telemetry devices, Coupa, PlanPlus, Oracle ERP

Qualifications

• 0 – 2 years related experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
• Must be fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken)
• Successful completion of interview required
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree
• Mechanical engineering
• Airline experience or knowledge of airline operations/fleet management
