About the Role

Our client, a leading international corporate and investment bank, is seeking a motivated Graduate Analyst to join its Debt Capital Markets (DCM) team in New York. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain front-office experience in debt financing, working alongside experienced bankers on client transactions and developing a strong understanding of the debt capital markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the origination and execution of debt financing transactions for corporate and financial institution clients.
• Prepare client presentations, pitchbooks and market updates.
• Analyze financial statements, company credit profiles and capital structures.
• Monitor debt capital markets, interest rates, credit spreads and new bond issuances.
• Assist with transaction structuring, pricing analysis and execution.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Corporate Banking, Syndicate and other product teams.
• Conduct market and sector research to identify financing opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• A genuine interest in financial markets, fixed income and corporate finance.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Previous internship experience in investment banking or financial services is advantageous but not essential.
