About the Role

As a Video Editor Intern at Scalora Academy Pvt Ltd, you will support the production of educational and promotional video content for digital learning platforms. This remote internship role involves assembling raw footage, editing video sequences, applying basic color grading, and incorporating motion graphics or graphic elements to enhance learner engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize media assets.
• Edit video sequences, assembling raw footage.
• Apply basic color grading.
• Incorporate motion graphics or graphic elements.
• Collaborate with content creators and instructional designers.
• Adapt videos for different platforms.
• Export content in appropriate formats.
• Participate in review cycles to incorporate feedback.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Familiarity with common video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar tools).

Qualifications

• Ability to work with core video production processes, including planning, organizing footage, and supporting end-to-end video production tasks.
• Strong skills in Video Editing, including cutting, trimming, sequencing clips, and adding sound, transitions, and basic effects.
• Foundational experience or interest in Video Color Grading.
• Capability to create or integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics.
• Attention to detail.
• Time management skills.
• Ability to follow creative briefs and brand guidelines.
• Willingness to learn.
• Willingness to accept feedback.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
• Interest in EdTech, digital learning, or educational content creation is an added advantage.
• Prior portfolio or sample work is preferred.
