About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The role involves performing CFD simulations to analyze fluid flow, aerodynamics, heat transfer, and thermal behavior for various engineering applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations for industrial and research projects.
• Work on thermal, flow, and fluid-structure interaction problems using industry-standard tools.
• Support training programs and knowledge transfer to students and industry professionals.
• Collaborate with partners, academic institutions, and industry clients.
• Prepare technical reports, simulation outputs, and client deliverables.
• Develop and validate numerical models.
• Set up and run simulations.
• Interpret results and prepare clear technical reports and presentations.
• Collaborate closely with software developers and multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate CFD insights into product design and optimization.
• Support troubleshooting, optimization studies, and continuous improvement of internal analysis workflows and tools.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Hands-on experience in CFD tools (SIMULIA, ANSYS Fluent or equivalent).
• Experience with meshing, pre-processing, solver setup, and post-processing.
• Good technical writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and numerical methods.
• PhD candidates with a research background in CFD are especially encouraged to apply.
