About the Role
ARCO/Murray is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager, passionate about the construction process, to join their team. This role involves responsibility for project performance and profit from day one, with an emphasis on managerial and administrative aspects.
A Day In The Life
- Manage and administer projects, including:
- Estimating
- Scheduling
- Quality control
- Progress reports
- Progress billing
- Design review and coordination
- Cost reporting
- Safety
- Proposal preparation
- Ensure accurate and complete project estimates.
- Collaborate with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
- Participate in proposal meetings to review scope, discuss cost reduction, and provide value engineering ideas.
- Oversee the buyout process and subcontractor selection.
- Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings.
- Make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
- Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to achieve desired results.
- Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes.
- Implement necessary changes, utilize customer input for improvements, and meet/exceed internal and external client expectations.
- Act with integrity, supporting the company, its values, and associates, while focusing on meeting/exceeding customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Engineering program or related field of study.
- Open to a full-time opportunity post-graduation.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
- Prior construction internship experience is a plus.
- Extracurricular involvement is a plus.
