About the Role
Future Interns is seeking a Full Stack Web Development Intern to contribute to web development projects during the October 2026 internship cycle. This role is designed for students and recent graduates with a foundational understanding of web development, aiming to apply existing knowledge to structured technical assignments. The intern will collaborate with mentors and project members on frontend, backend, database, testing, and documentation tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and updating responsive web pages and application features.
- Implement frontend changes using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Support backend tasks using Node.js or Python, as applicable.
- Work with MySQL, MongoDB, or other project databases.
- Assist with API integration and basic application functionality.
- Test assigned features and document identified issues.
- Support debugging and troubleshooting activities.
- Maintain clear documentation for assigned development work.
- Utilize Git or other version-control systems, as applicable.
- Provide regular updates on assigned tasks and communicate blockers promptly.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of fundamental web development concepts.
- Ability to understand and modify basic code.
- Logical approach to solving technical problems.
- Good written communication skills.
- Ability to organize and complete assigned work remotely.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with React or another frontend framework.
- Basic knowledge of Node.js, Python, or Express.js.
- Familiarity with MySQL or MongoDB.
- Understanding of REST APIs.
- Basic Git knowledge.
- Academic or personal web development projects.
