About the Role
We are former Duolingo engineers building an AI-powered learning app. We have grown to 4k users in 2 weeks with $0 marketing spend and are looking for a growth hire to help us scale our app on social media. You will work directly with the founders at a fast-growing startup and own the go-to-market engine to scale us to millions of users.
Key Responsibilities
- Own our social presence across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook
- Find creators: look on TikTok and Instagram for good creators, contact them, and keep a pipeline of creators moving
- Write scripts: write hooks, scripts and talking points for UGC style videos, and test which angles hold attention
- Give feedback: review creators' draft videos and give clear, kind notes that make the next version better
- Learn from the numbers: track views and ad performance across videos, find out which hooks and formats work, and feed that back into new scripts
Qualifications
- You spend a lot of time on TikTok and Reels and can explain why a video works
- You can come up with creative hooks that go viral on social media
- You've made short-form content yourself, run a social account, or worked with creators or influencers
