About Piris Labs
Piris Labs is building technology for the next generation of computing and AI.
About the Role
We’re looking for a confident, resourceful communicator to work directly with our founders across marketing, relationship-building, and day-to-day business operations. You’ll help expand our business network, create engaging social media content, organize marketing initiatives, and represent Piris Labs in conversations with customers, partners, and the broader community. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys meeting people, thinks on their feet, and follows through. You should be comfortable starting a conversation, spotting an opportunity, and taking the initiative to make something happen. No technical background is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Build our network: Connect with potential customers, partners, founders, and community organizers. Make introductions, develop relationships, and keep conversations moving through thoughtful follow-up.
- Grow our social media presence: Help plan and create LinkedIn posts, company updates, photos, short videos, and event coverage. Keep content consistent, engaging, and relevant to the people we want to reach.
- Bring marketing ideas to life: Propose and execute campaigns, collaborations, small events, and other initiatives that introduce more people to Piris Labs. Track what generates interest and build on what works.
- Represent the company: Attend events, welcome visitors, participate in introductory meetings, and help people understand who we are and what we’re building.
- Support sales and partnerships: Research potential contacts, help arrange meetings, prepare materials, and follow up on opportunities alongside the founders.
- Keep things organized and moving: Maintain contact lists, coordinate meetings and events, track commitments, and help with practical business and operational needs.
Qualifications
- An excellent communicator: You write clearly, speak confidently, listen carefully, and adapt your approach to different people.
- Good at building relationships: You enjoy meeting new people and know how to turn an introduction into an ongoing connection.
- Sharp and resourceful: You learn quickly, ask good questions, and find practical ways to solve problems.
- Creative and comfortable with social media: You have a good feel for content, storytelling, and what catches an audience’s attention.
- Organized and dependable: You manage details, remember commitments, and follow through without constant reminders.
- Proactive: You bring ideas, take ownership, and are comfortable moving work forward independently.
- Thoughtful and professional: You use good judgment when representing the company and handling confidential information.
Relevant experience could come from marketing, social media, events, hospitality, sales, community-building, or a project you started yourself. We’d love to see examples of content you’ve created, events you’ve organized, or relationships you’ve helped build.
