BIM Modeler

About the Role

Cosmere Technologies provides digital engineering and specialist modeling services to the global AECO industry. The BIM Modeler is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South, responsible for producing accurate and coordinated BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating and updating 3D models from point clouds and construction drawings.
• Ensuring compliance with project standards.
• Supporting clash detection and constructability analysis.
• Preparing detailed drawings, schedules, and quantities.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project teams to maintain consistency across all project documentation.
• Contributing to model-based project planning (4D/5D).
• Supporting Scan to BIM workflows.
• Helping integrate models with facility management and digital construction processes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM), including 3D model creation, coordination, and model-based documentation.
• Understanding of Architecture and construction processes.
• Experience working as a Modeler or BIM Technician, producing accurate and well-structured BIM deliverables for multidisciplinary projects.
• Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their integration within BIM models for coordination and clash detection.
• Proficiency in developing and reading Construction Drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and detailing.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD).
• Familiarity with Scan to BIM workflows.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams, communicate clearly, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Relevant BIM certifications are an advantage.
• Experience with 4D/5D modeling, point cloud handling, and exposure to digital construction or facility management integration is a plus.
