Pharmacy Clerk

About the Role

Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Clerk in Devils Lake, ND.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by completing sales transactions in a friendly, accurate, and timely fashion.
• Maintain clean and neat pharmacy work areas.
• Greet all customers and offer assistance.
• Champion Thrifty White programs such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx, and assist with patient enrollment.
• Receive, unpack, and check merchandise for accuracy and acceptable condition.
• Stock, clean, and sort pharmacy product.
• Maintain the health aids department.
• Learn and implement new and changing technologies on an ongoing basis.
• Maintain flexibility in new or changing work roles and job responsibilities as required.
• Assist anywhere in the store or nearby locations as needed.
• Ensure good attendance and punctuality to fulfill essential job functions.

Physical Demands

• May include long periods of standing.
• Frequently required to talk and hear.
• Use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Able to learn and implement new and changing technologies.
• Willingness to help anywhere in the store or nearby locations.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
