About the Role
As the first dedicated Product Marketing hire, you will own how the company explains its work to the world. This is a technical writing and communication role, transforming engineering output into clear, precise content for technical audiences across various channels. This role is ideal for someone who writes exceptionally well, is curious about document AI systems, and wants to build a marketing function from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and edit technical content: deep-dive blog posts on models and pipelines, benchmark releases, release notes, and customer stories.
- Manage the LinkedIn and X presence, maintaining a consistent company voice and growing a technical audience.
- Own core messaging and positioning across priority industries, keeping it current with product evolution.
- Execute product launches end-to-end, including blog posts, landing pages, social media, and email announcements.
- Create sales enablement materials: one-pagers, solution briefs, and evaluation guides, derived from engineering work, evaluations, and customer results.
- Plan and execute presence at industry conferences, executive dinners, and roundtables.
- Organize hosted events (customer roundtables, technical meetups, launch showcases) and repurpose them into content and proof points.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- 0-4 years in technical writing, content, developer relations, or marketing at a startup or agency. New grads with strong writing skills and a portfolio of published work are encouraged to apply.
- Exceptional written communication for technical audiences, with the ability to explain systems clearly and without hype.
- Sufficient technical fluency to interview engineers, read benchmark tables, and engage in discussions with engineering and data teams.
- Experience writing for social media, or a clear understanding of effective LinkedIn and X strategies for a technical audience.
- Bias to ship: ability to produce content like blog posts or landing pages quickly.
- Experience with HubSpot and Webflow.
Qualifications (Nice to have)
- Experience writing about developer tools, data infrastructure, or AI products.
- Proven ability to grow an online audience through writing.
- Technical background in computer science, engineering, math, or a quantitative field.
- Experience running a launch, content program, or event end-to-end.
